british antiques roadshow
Who painted the portrait of a naked man laying in the stomach outside next to a clay pot?
I remember seeing this great work I believe that beauty has become the 19th century to mid 20th century, perhaps an English artist in the years years, many British Antiques Roadshow and is stuck in my head since. I think the painting is a male or North Africa or Spain, you can see the top of the head, shoulders, buttocks and legs, and a clay pot, possibly the one hand, and perhaps a fern / Plant in the other. I like to know who painted it and perhaps find an impressive printed image.
It is possible that this image is not well documented. Especially if you are in private hands. Maybe you could try contacting Antiques Roadshow with people to see if they have documented.
