Old Wooden
I like things that stand out and not like what everyone.
So when I found an old pair of wooden shutters inside My father, construction law, I have saved from the trash - the wheels already turning.
I took them and put them in the shower. I thought it could not hurt either. As in all the cobwebs and dust came a beautiful pair of wood blinds with slats or single party. Eureka! I immediately dried and brought to my room and removed the mini white generic death, covering the window above my head. No matter that the flaps were larger than the window - I heard that size does not matter! Well, at least one applied to shutters timber in this case ...
I put down the windows on the bottom of the window and nearly an inch on the left edge of the window. I inserted the screws on the left side of the blinds and placed in a zigzag so it looks like exactly the right size of the window - Which also adds interest to the window instead of them just flat against the glass.
Another thing not mentioned is that the blinds were about 6 inches too short for the height of the window ... do not worry! Simply fill the space at the top with a crown of large red berries that are so popular - Looks great!
I also painted the shades of age as them and used in my kitchen windows in the past - are much more colorful and interesting mini-blinds that are simple and easy to clean.
