Yves Behar of San Francisco-based industrial designer and founder of projectfuse, revealed a beautiful set of hanging lamps made from recycled paper that the effect of the shimmering crystal chandeliers catch. His jewel-like lights Amplify using a small crystal the light of an LED lamp to break. Presented at Milan Salone del Mobile last spring as part of Swarovski's Crystal Palace, a platform for experimentatation with Innovation and Technology. Self-taught inventor, architect, Poul Henningsen was a pioneer in launching the lighting PH Snowball (still a top seller today) which made its debut in 1925. The PH Artichoke a wide variety of design that arrived in the U.S. in 2008 on his 50th birthday. Considered a masterpiece, this icon is a 360-degree Fri glare luminaire that gives off a distinct relief. Made with 72 leaves in circular rows 12 to shield the light source and redirect and reflect light on underlying leaves. Originally made for the Langelinie Pavilion restaurant in Copenhagen, where the PH Artichoke is still hanging. Available in cooper, stainless steel (brushed or painted), white (wet sprayed) and gold.
